Ant

This was the fourth assignment in Illustration 1. The assignment was to draw an animal using only ink. However, there was no restriction to how the ink could be applied.

Mine was an ink wash on the background with pen for the ant itself. I wanted to try an unusual style for shading. I like how it turned out. My instructor seemed to like it. I kept telling one of my friends to touch it and she didn't want to.
