Here's the first artwork of my new dA profile! A little something I actually started a long while back, and I quit for a while when school and such got busy. Well it's still Christmas break for me, and I finally got back to it and finished it off!

So who is he? It's Geno from Squaresoft's Super Mario RPG! He's got a big, loyal fanbase, so I figured I'd do him justice by giving him a "next-gen" look for all those who wanted him to be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It took a lot of research, but I finally arrived at this look by combining concepts from both the actual game art, the in-game sprites, and a lot of renditions by fellow fans, so I hope its something everybody can... agree? on it.

Used Photoshop CS, as usual. More than 150 layers... ^^;; *phew* and 256MB of RAM... I don't know how I've survived this long. I need a new computer... Hope you enjoy it!

Oh wells. I'm glad you still like it =P And I'm trying... hands are teh hardness +_+

I love you more XD Thanks for the advice about that pinnochio book. i'll assume its nothing like the movie and leave it at that. =P

Its very good, Is it pseudo 3d?

Though the left (our left) hand should be larger than the other hand if it is closer to us. I don;t think it is, in fact it looks smaller....

I think you've done it; you're the first I've seen to have truly captured the realism aspect of Brawl, and made it digitized as so. I'll bet Geno would look EXACTLY like this had he been in Brawl.

This looks almost like a real SSB render of Geno. Exellent work. :D (Though the arms look a bit short compared to the legs.) Still looks great, and nice job making him look wooden, and the emblem on his hat looks great rendered in gold.

I've heard those rumors, I admit he would've been cool in Brawl. (Though a pretty unlikelly character to appear; then again, I used to think Sonic was to.)
I would've at least liked to of seen one trophy, music, or something regarding "Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars" existence in SSB. (A trophy of the Exor sword in Bowser Keep, would've looked cool.)

I noticed they did get away with using the frying pan as one of Peach's moves in Melee & Brawl. Wich was her most powerfull equip weapon in Mario RPG. (Though, it could've also been a reference to her role in the "Chef" game included in Game & Watch Gallery 2 & 4. Fun, yet very underated games.)
