Not Sonic

My first submission of 2013!

So I was looking at hedgehogs as a color reference for Izzy and I was thinking about how little Sonic resembles an actual hedgehog. So I started looking around for cartoon hedgehog designs and overall, most everyone goes for the "cute" factor, which is understandable because they're freakin' cute little dudes.

But Sonic has a lot of attitude (a little too much these days), so I wanted to capture that in a design that resembles actual hedgehogs. This is what I came up with. It's decidedly very pokemon-esque, in my opinion, which is kinda funny. Wasn't trying for that.
