Pixels Revisted: Ashley

Here's the second installment of in my "Pixels Revisited" series.

Okay, so I've totally been experimenting with pattern dithering on MSPaint for these recent PAs, and I've slightly improved upon the technique from the Omni pixel art. This one was a little more challenging, since I didn't have any official promotional art to use as reference (ie: Sonic for Omni), but I think it turned out pretty well.

Biographical summary: Ashley the Chocobo was first introduced in my latest Roleplay, "The Shadow," which is still currently underway. Omni rescued her from a fearsome beast, and they became fast friends.

She comes from a land called the Gyshal Forest, which is a hidden nation with access through an underwater portal, much like Immoria. She is peculiar in the fact that she was not concieved by any parents, but by ancient forces, to fulfill a divine purpose.

She has the ability to manipulate air currents to create forceful winds for offensive or transport purposes. Needless to say, being a chocobo means she can run extremely fast. She also has the unique ability to use any of her feathers as a "compass" to lead to any previously encountered, or sometimes random or unknown goal.

She can sometimes be a bit emotionally unstable, but she is strong willed and friendly. If pushed hard enough, she can unleash powers beyond even her own comprehension.
